Dr Bokang Letlotlo is a dedicated psychiatrist in Randburg with a strong interest in mental health education and advocacy. Her path into psychiatry was shaped by a deep belief: that mental health is just as essential as physical well-being, and that people deserve access to care that helps them understand what they are going through.
Her clinical work spans the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, trauma-related disorders, and childhood developmental challenges. She works with both adults and young people, providing structured, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs.
What drew her to psychiatry was more than a medical interest. It was a calling. She has long been passionate about raising awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting individuals as they navigate their own experiences.
Away from the practice, Dr Letlotlo finds balance through movement and learning. She enjoys running; her longest distance completed is a half-marathon, and she is an avid reader of self-mastery literature. She draws inspiration from authors like Robin Sharma and values the time she spends with her family.
Her work is grounded in empathy, structure, and the belief that care should meet people where they are, without judgment, and with a commitment to understanding.
